Synopsis of Doctor on the Edge Korean Drama
In South Korea, military service is compulsory for all men. However, a select group, including privileged medical students, is permitted to serve as public health doctors instead. This drama follows the story of these fortunate individuals. Do Ji Ui, a plastic surgeon, is assigned to Pyeondong-do, an isolated island that no one wants to visit. From his very first day, unsettling events begin to unfold. Can he endure a full year on this challenging island and make it out alive, or will the island break him before he can complete his service?
