Gunner Film Cast Announcement
In January 2023, it was announced that Luke Hemsworth would star in the film, in February 2023 Morgan Freeman joined the cast, and in April 2023, Joseph Baena joined the cast. Later that same month, Feely, DeWolfe, and Jenkins were added to the cast.

The filming began of Gunner (film) in Birmingham, Alabama on 30 March 2023, it was also filmed in Bessemer, Alabama in April 2023.
