Mumtaz Sorcar Lifestyle, Primary and Higher Education
Mumtaz Sorcar attended Modern High School for Girls, Kolkata, for her schooling, and then joined South Calcutta Law College under Calcutta University, where she successfully obtained her BA.LLB degree. Alongside her education, she also trained in boxing at a South Kolkata club under the auspices of the Bengal Amateur Boxing Federation.
Mumtaz Sorcar's Professional Acting Career
In 2009, Mumtaz Sorcar officially began her acting career with her first project, a film titled "Ek Bar Bolo Uttam Kumar,". After that, she played a role in the film 033, directed by Birsha Dasgupta. Since then, she has taken on many significant roles in various films, primarily from the Bengali entertainment industry. Her most recent film is "Battle of Chhuriyaan," a Hindi-language film. In addition to films, she has also appeared in several web series, including "Charitraheen 2," "Charitraheen 3," and "Shobdo Jobdo."
