Synopsis and Storyline of “Devil's Covenant Child”
Zaidi is a teacher, whose mother is a rich widow who wants grandchildren of her own and often pressures him to remarry because he and his wife, Azlinda, have no offspring despite years of marriage. Azlina is often mocked by her mother-in-law because of that. Tired of her mother's nagging, Zaidi asked to change jobs and apparently, that place was the village where her late father was born.
The couple lives in a house belonging to Zaidi's grandmother located in a remote area. The scary house has not been occupied for five years and is only looked after by a gardener named Pak Man. There, Azlina began to hear the voices of babies and children playing. She later found out she was pregnant. However, he is still often disturbed by those voices and strange dreams.
